Laos includes the delightful town of Luang Prabang as well as the small pleasant capital of Vientiane. In Luang Prabang the streets are lined with old colonial French buildings, many of which have been converted into shops or restaurants. Monday, February 1st, 2010
Palau has to be one of the best diving destinations in the world. Not only are the islands beautiful, there are some simply amazing, out of this world dives. One dive called Blue Holes is an underwater cavern with four holes in the top of the cavern and other holes on the reef wall. The overall effect is that light penetrates the cavern creating a cathedral like atmosphere that illuminates parts of the cavern giving the diver a feeling of floating in an enormous space.
From Blue Holes, it is possible to get to the world famous Blue Corner where you can hook on to the reef while sharks and other predators cruise on the current all around you and sometimes barracuda can be seen circling overhead. To be able to combine what are some of the best dives in the world in a single dive, makes this dive one my favorites in Palau.

The Art of Travel Photography & Travel Photography as Art
Monday, October 19th, 2009I have just installed a great little newsletter subscription option (See the Connect with me panel at the bottom of the web page) for NewsLetter and later blogs.
As you’ve probably guessed the main topics I will talk about here in my blogs are travel & photography and everything in between. That includes my travel phlisophy , techniques, planse, gear I use and how I use it.
Sounds simple, but photography is an art form
I have traveled to some amazing places and seen some incredible things. Now my hope is that through my images I can share some of that magic and wonder.
I think moving through the world and meeting people from diverse cultures you get a different perspective on things, a different way of seeing how we all live on this planet.
Another great thing about travel is that as a photographer you are continually finding new and exciting subject matter.
